Hand crafted hot cocoa is great. It's the best. I've made it my own by implanting the hot cocoa with every one of the flavors of a vanilla chai latte and softening in ambivalent chocolate to make it additional rich and velvety.

Vanilla Chai Hot cocoa is the coziest treat! Vanilla Chai Hot cocoa unites the best morning and night chilly climate drinks (well, less espresso). As I would see it, a chai tea latte is even more a morning drink and hot cocoa is a late night treat. This hot cocoa is injected with every one of the kinds of a vanilla chai latte, making it ideal for tasting on a virus winter night. It's a simple, without any preparation recipe.

Ingredients

• 1 ¼ cups water
• 4 chai tea bags (I used Tazo)
• 4 cups whole milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ¼ cup cocoa powder
• ½ cup sugar
• 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

Instructions

1. Over high heat, bring water to boil in medium saucepan. Remove from heat, and add chai tea bags. Cover with lid and let sit for 15 minutes.
2. Pour in milk and stir together. Simmer over medium to medium-high heat (do NOT boil) for about 7-10 minutes until milk is heated through to a desirable temperature. (During this step, leave the tea bags in the milk, but if you have a gas stove use caution as the strings on the tea bags may hang close to the flame.)
3. Remove saucepan from heat, and remove tea bags from mixture. Add vanilla, cocoa powder, sugar, and bittersweet chocolate. Whisk well to combine.
4. Serve warm topped with marshmallows or whipped cream!
